Did you know that female entrepreneurs make up 43% of all global entrepreneurs? Between 2019
and 2023, women-owned businesses' growth rate outpaced that of men’s 94.3% for number of
firms, 252.8% in employment, and 82% in revenue.
During the pandemic, women-owned businesses added 1.4 million jobs and contributed $579.6
billion to the economy. However, 88% of businesses owned by women generate less than $100,000 in revenue annually, with a mere 1.7% crossing the $1 million mark. Why, is this the case?
Female entrepreneurs face unique challenges in navigating the business world. Roughly 48% of
women in business still lack the opportunity to connect with competent advisors to guide them
through entrepreneurship, provide insights on innovative ideas and assist in implementing effective business strategies.
Moreover, a whopping 85% of female entrepreneurs struggle with juggling priorities and managing time as one of their top challenges.
